SAFED MUSLI CAPSULES
Safed musli is a native herb found in the understories of forests in India. Of the 13 species of Chlorophytum native to India, C. borivilianum is the most important for medicinal use and is the one commonly sold as safed musli. It is a rare herb from India. It is used in traditional systems of medicine including Ayurveda, Unani, and homeopathy. The Musli roots contain around 25 types of alkaloids, vitamins and minerals like calcium, potassium, and magnesium. It also contains polysaccharides, resins, phenol, and mucilage content. The simple sugars like fructose, glucose, galactose, sucrose, xylose and mannose are also found in the Musli roots.
