How disturbing Insomnia can be?
We all have faced sleepless nights which make us cranky and irritable during the day. We can survive
two or maximum three nights without sleep but beyond that, it makes us worse. It is exhausting to stay
awake night after night. It leads to mental and physical stress.
Sleep is crucial to our health, safety, and well-being. Sleep recharges our brain, allowing it function.
Sleeplessness has been linked to car crashes, poor work performance and problems with mood and
relationships. Sleep deprivation also increases the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes,
obesity, depression, and stroke. Having one or two sleepless nights isn’t a critical problem but having a
few of them is the beginning of insomnia and before we know, it takes a toll on our health.
